Chad Ellis is pictured measuring a part from a customer who specializes in laser cutting. The part shown has qualities that make it especially interesting to work with due to its shape. Leveling round and axially symmetric parts requires two passes through the FlatMaster with a 90° rotation between runs. This allows the material to benefit fully from leveling process by assuring small cross sections pass parallel to the leveling rollers.
